I came to A-Burg in Dec. 30th 1964 on the SS Gen. Rose. Troop ship. Later I put in for a transfer to the ( all volunteer/RA only) 199th Lt.inf. in Ft. Benning in Mar 1966. I got my EIB in A-Burg and I was also a 113 driver. It was great duty until VietNam got hot... Then it all went Mickey Mouse.

Good Day, I am looking for any information on my uncle, PVT Wesley Erola, who was killed in action on 11-27-1950, while serving with C Company, 1st Battalion, 7th Inf Reg in North Korea. I would be interested in finding out where the unit was and talking with anyone who may have known him during that time. Thank you.
