Comments: I served in CSC company recon platoon 1bn-7th from Feb-73 to Nov-74 in A'burg. SSG Larry Crouch, SFC West and SSG Hughes are the names I remember.

Comments: Just looking around and found my old unit from 1966-1977. Ascheffenburg, Germany. HHC. I find it extremely interesting that after all these years my unit is coming to Sumter, SC. which is where I moved to 7 years ago from the state of Maine. Bless all that have served and will service with the Cottonbalers! Warren
Comments: rock of the marne!!!!
Comments: I was stationed at Graves Kaserne from late '83 to mid-85. I was there as we switched from the APC to the Bradley. I was on the BC's Bradley which we configured to accept additional radios and a large tent attached to the back end to make it a mobile HQ. Aschaffenburg, was fun; used to go to the Zum Ross gasthaus. Good Italian and German food when the Mark rate was 4:1.
Comments: I was a member of CSC 1/7th 3rd Infantry Div. 1969-1972 with the Radar Section. Our Top was 1SG Robert Taylor, our CO was Capt. Nader a west pointer. My Radar Team was always on the Border but it was all good even if we were away from Graves Kaserne. Does anybody remember SSG Elias Campos from Houston, Texas? He was the 4.2 Mortar Platoon BMFIC. I am trying to locate him, I left my guitar with him when I left on a rapid deployment. Hope he learned how to play it at least. It was a martin. No piece of plunkity-plunk wooden Woolworth guitar. All those memories are still fresh on my mind. Where are all those guys today? I would like to know. A Former Cotton Baler Luis Cirilo |
