Comments: Original Date: Mon May 25 19:17:01 2009 ============================== I am the son of Sgt.Jack Farris. My father was in the 3rd Div, 7th Reg Company H. He is still around. He does not talk about it much. He even does not care to have a special license plate for Korean Veterans. It seems like it was no big deal, but, he does emphasize it was cold over there. I have noticed that the History Channel never mentions the 3rd Div helping the 2nd Marines in the Chosin Reservoir. Not sure why.
Comments: Original Date: Mon May 18 12:02:23 2009 ================================= My Father, James Walter Krieg, served in the 7th in Europe from Oct.8, 1943 to Oct.5, 1945. He died in 1969, when I was three. I received his "Enlisted record and report of separation" from St. Louis, but I would like to know more specific information on his "unit". I know he was in the 3rd Division and 7th Infantry Regiment, but what batallion and which company was he in? I'd also like to learn about pictures he had taken and awards, medals and other items from WWII. Any assistance yo

Cuculo and the 7th Leadership were great company but the best was the time we got to spend with the active duty troops at the range and mingling after lunch. Fantastic group of soldiers, all!! Plan to join us next year!!
