My father, Donald Noble, was 3rd div, 7th reg in WW2. He has passed and he asked me to remember his war service, but her did not give many details. I would like to contact anyone that knew him or was in the same regiment to give my family some history. Thanks

Figured it was time to thank you boys for getting me some relief at the racetrack 31 Jan '68. I was the squad leader of A/716 MP Bn who started in the dark and was glad to see you come along. Welcome home.

Served in old 1st Battlegroup, Bravo Co.,later Co.A,1st Bn in A-burg, 1963-65. Was a "charter member" of HHC 3d Bde, 3rd ID in June 1963, when the 3 ID went "ROAD"! While in Co B i was "selected" (you, you and you, get into classs A's and get on the truck!)to represent the 7th when President Kennedy trooped the line up at Fligerhurst in Hanau!Still have the invitation they gave us.I know that 1st Bn was disbanded after Desert Storm, but I am very proud of 2nd and 3rd Bn's job in Iraq!

If you have a moment, could you please provide any information on the 7th infantry regiment in it's role regarding the Mormon Uprising. It is my understanding, though I don't have any proof, that this regiment trade with Sitting Bull, i.e., the army needed meat and the Lakota Sioux needed blankets. My Great Grand Father, Martin Conboy, was enlisted with this regiment during the uprising. During the Civil War, was awarded the M of H for bravery @ the Battle of Williamsburg, 5/5/
