Comments: For those that knew him, SSG Micki Nixon passed away on friday at FSGA. Please say a prayer for him and his family. SSG Nixon was my gunner in 2nd Platoon, A/3-7 IN and served with 3-7 for several years.
Comments: Great web site. You did the 2-7 a great justice. I served in A co 2-7 from Jan. '98 until Sept. 1 2001. I left 2-7 as an E-5. I was hoping that someone would develop a great web site to honor 2-7 and you have definitely done that. Thanks
Comments: Willing and Able! Some of my best years in the Army were with Dco 2-7IN. Thanks for being my role model. The values of this unit have helped to make me the soldier I am today. Cottonbalers by GOD, Deathriders lead the way!!!!
Comments: Nice pictures. Best wishes from Aschaffenburg Germany.
Comments: I recently obtained some documents relating to my grandfathers service in World War 2. One of the documents reads: Under the provisions of Army Regulation 600-45, a Bronze Oak Leaf Cluster, representing an additional award of the Purple Heart, is awarded to the following named individuals: BARNHART, Wayne, M., 33 503 120, Sergeant, Company B, 7th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Division, for wounds received in action on 29 October 1944, at Domfaing, France. My grandfather never talked much about his service, and I am trying to reconstruct his service experience, or at least find out where he was during WWII. Some of his authorized decorations are: Bronze Service Stars for Naples-Foggia, Rome-Arno, Southern France and Rhineland. Anyone who may be able to help me decipher his war time travels is more than welcome to email me at randifersATyahooDOTcom.
Comments: Delta Company "Dogs" 3/7 INF until we were folded into Charlie to become the "Chawgs" 1999-2002. We spent the year 2000 almost always in the field. Fond memories.

Comments: Hello, I am trying to find anyone that may have served with my grandfather Joseph L Hagood. He was with L co. 7th inf. reg, 3rd division. He was awarded the Bronze star with "v" while assaulting hill 171 (I have his original warrant but it is hard to tell the actual hill designation), September 25 1952. He was a great man and is what mainly inspired me to enlist in the Corps and serve in Iraq. He is missed greatly and I wish to find those he served with to see what he was like while serving.
Comments: I am searching for anyone who might remember my brother, William "Bill" Harold Johnson. He was in Fox CO. 2nd battalion 7th Infantry Regiment 3rd Infantry Division possibly in task force (KAIL). He was listed Missing In Action on December 3,1950 at HukSu-Ri Korea. He was from Indiana, only 17. He smoked, he had a scar on his abdomen from an appendectomy as a child, he was left handed, he had a scar on one hand from a dog bite, he was tall 6' or so, he played a guitar.Brown hair hazel eyes.I know Glenn Hubenette served with him, glenn said there 2 Johnson's in his unit one had 4 names so he had a nickname and my brother Bill. |
