It was such a surprise to see some pictures of my Dad (1SG Devins)on the site. Thank you! He's been gone a long time but one of the things I remember most about Dad was how proud he was to have served our country in the Army. Thanks again!

J'm an italian researcher. J'm searching for news, documents and pictures about Umberto Baracchini (or Boracchini or Boaracchini) who was employed by advance units of the 7th Infantry Regiment, 3d Infantry Division in Italy, from the Volturno River to Cassino (October-December 1943), to scout German displacements.
Please, write me.
Best regards.

My Uncle George M Peters, was KIA, 5 Feb 45. After purchasing the tape, "Fedala to Berchtesgaden", I found his picture on page 224. I don't remember him personally, but from his picture he resembles my father. Many thanks to Dr John C McManus, 7th Regimental Assoc. Historian, Assistant Professor, US Military History, University of Missouri-Rolla, for his kind emails. My wishes and prayers go out to all service men and women from this great nation. God Bless them all! and thanks Dr McManus.
